The farm is a real hidden gem, a day dream away from all the hustle and bustle of Dubai’s life, an oasis of tropical luxury between construction debris & desert sand, where you can’t hear the roads or smell the pollution’s. A place you should visit while in Dubai, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here’s all the information & my breakfast experience at the famous AL -BARARI farm.
Location : The Farm Al Barari is set in midst of natural & unexpected greenery and tranquil water streams with botanical garden, located 20 minutes away from down town Dubai off sheikh zahid road, right opposite Global village. The road leading to the restaurant is like a dense forest and it’s hard to believe you still in middle east.
Despite of it’s out of way location, the restaurant always attract full house. It was my third time & first time for the breakfast and as usual it was busy. I tried booking before but they said they were full & put my name on waiting list. As we arrived we were lucky to find a table for 4 without waiting. (P.S Don’t forget to book in advance)
Ambiance: The ambiance, the decor and all the greenery is beyond beautiful. And I think so the ambiance is what make the place special. After the breakfast we decide to wonder around and explore the outdoor area for couple of hours before heading back home.
The food/ Breakfast: The farm is known for its locally grown fresh ingredient based menu. we received our menu presented on an iPad. I wanted to try leisure & express breakfast but unfortunately they don’t serve on weekend so i land up ordering an English breakfast (75AED), shakshuka (40AED) & pistachio waffles (42AED) with coffee & avocado milkshakes. And I really liked their waffles & shakshuka.
The farm is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner from 7.30 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. daily.
Location: Al Barari Villas, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Dubai, UAE +97143925660

Good fresh food at reasonable prices! Though I’d like to have seen some real animals! Kids would love that!
